Peace Day!

Thanks to all those that participated in International Day of Peace

A little about this day
The International Day of Peace - is a global holiday when individuals, communities, nations and governments highlight efforts to end conflict and promote peace. Established by U.N. in 1982, "Peace Day" has grown to include millions of people around the world who participate in all kinds of events, large and small & create practical acts of peace on a shared date.

The Global Justice Project is a club at Meramec - St. Louis Community College that seeks to "speak up for those who can't speak for themselves." Through various events, we hope to raise awareness and challenge people on campus and throughout St. Louis to act on behalf of those suffering from various forms of injustice globally.
